MH-CET/ MAH-CET is held by the State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra. It is an annual state-level entrance test used for admission to MBA/MMS programmes offered by accredited institutions of Maharashtra. CET scores are accepted by more than 300 institutes. In 2023, MAH-CET MBA was conducted on 25. However, this exam is scheduled for two days and another date is 26 March 2023. Like previous year, this year also students reported many glitches during the exam such as students were given less than the scheduled time, rough sheets were given late, systems were shutting in between. Also, at some centers the questions were jumbled and, in some centers, they were not jumbled.

MAH-CET 2023: Overall Analysis
MAH-CET is a computer-based test, composed of multiple-choice questions. The exam's difficulty level and question distribution remained same as that of year. MAHCET 2023 paper was fairly simple and straightforward. Similar to the last year, the questions from different sections appeared in random order. Overall the section had fair mix of conventional reasoning question ranging from blood relation, coding – decoding , direction sense, arrangements etc. The section was dominated by arrangements, coding, syllogism, venn diagram missing letter & number. All the questions were easy except a few puzzle based questions such as family tree which had 5 questions based on it. Similarly, 4-5 questions in a set were based on venn diagram etc. Overall, the section was easy to slightly moderate.

This section also had questions based on visual reasoning concepts. These questions were from series completion, odd-one/ image out, analogies, etc. The section was dominated by analogies & water/mirror images. Overall, the section was moderate & time consuming.

The section was dominated by arithmetic as there were more than 20 questions based on it. There were only a few questions based on modern maths such as combination & permutation, probability etc. There were no questions based on Data-sufficiency this time. DI questions were doable but slightly calculation intensive

This section dominated by vocabulary & RC passages. The vocabulary based questions included antonyms, synonyms, idioms, one word substitutions & contextual vocabulary. There were two passages. They easy to moderate. One was based on sociology & culture and another was based on inclination towards power in politics. Most of the questions were doable. Overall feel of the section was easy.
Overall, an attempt of 170+ in MAHCET 2023 is sufficient for a high score in the exam.
