All About MH-CET MBA 2018 Admissions

The MH-CET (Maharashtra-Common Entrance Test) for MBA admissions is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. The CET, conducted online since 2014 contains 200 multiple choice questions to be attempted in 150 minutes. All test questions carry equal marks and there is no negative marking. Over 94000 candidates registered for the 2017 MH-CET.

MH-CET scores are accepted by a number of institutes offering management programs across Maharashtra. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for this entrance exam from all over the country. Some the prestigious colleges that accept MH-CET score include SIMSREE, K.J Somaiya, Welingkar, JBIMS and PUMBA.

  • Candidates should be graduates from an institute or university recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) in any discipline having a minimum 50% score in total
  • Candidates who belong to the backward class categories and persons with disability(Maharashtra state candidates only) are permitted to apply with a score sheet of minimum 45% marks in aggregate
  • The Candidate must have completed their graduation in the stipulated time as per the respective University rule
  • Final year students are also eligible to apply for the entrance test; they must complete their graduation before the admission process begins for individual colleges

Registration Process: Step 1: Register Online
  • To register online, log on to
  • Click on Apply Online and fill in details like Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Category, Phone Number, Educational qualifications, Test city etc. in the form. After this, upload your scanned photograph and signature. Then, select Mode of Payment
Step 2: Payment
  • Online payment using a credit or debit card
  • Payment through a bank challan
Step 3: Download the Admit Card
  • The admit card would be available online (expected in the last week of April) on the official website of DTE Maharashtra.
