About MAH-CET

MAH-CET is an examination organized by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, DTE (Director of Technical Education), for over 330 B-schools in Maharashtra. This computer-based objective test aims to assess the general aptitude skills of candidates. Following the exam, a Common Admission Process (CAP) is conducted for admission to the respective institutes. CET includes renowned institutes like SIMSREE (Sydenham), Welingkar, and PUMBA.

Since 2021, MAH CET is being scheduled in the month of August every year. CAP is generally conducted in three rounds for the State and All-India candidates. MBA CET cut-off is released for every round on the official website.

MAH CET Cut-off

The cut-off scores of MAH CET-accepting institutes are determined by various factors, including their ranking, number of admission seats, exam difficulty, and the number of test-takers. Consequently, the MBA CET cut-off score may vary slightly each year, while the approximate range remains consistent.

In the state, government-run and aided MBA/MMS institutes fill 85% of their seats through CET, while private unaided and minority-reserved institutes allocate 65% of their seats in the same manner. The remaining 15% of seats are filled based on All India merit. Additionally, the all-India seats consider scores from CAT, CMAT, XAT, MAT, and ATMA exams.
