Altera
This year IIFT exam was conducted on 5th December by National Testing Agency and exam was computer based. There were 4 sections namely QR, RC&VA, DI&LR, GA with a total of 110 questions. QR section was tough this year. DI was not calculation intensive and selection of question was important in LR. RCs were easy to moderate. Vocabulary was also moderate in RC&VA section. This year difficulty level GK was moderate as it was dominated by current GK. To maintain the cutoff in all 4 sections, time management was the key. Students had to scroll right and left frequently to read the questions and then options. It is to be noted that IIFT has brought slight changes in its shortlisting criteria, with around 70% weightage allotted to the exam score and remaining to the academic profile and diversity. There were technical glitches at several centers as reported by the students including poor interface. The National Testing Agency (NTA) postponed the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) 2022 exam for admission to MBA in International Business in states of Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and West Bengal in wake of cyclone JAWAD. Overall feel of the paper was moderate to tough.
