IIFT 2021 Question Paper

IIFT is administered by NTA (National Testing Agency) on behalf of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. It is a national-level entrance test held for admissions to MBA (International Business) offered at its three campuses (Delhi, Kolkata, and Kakinada). One of the top B-schools of India, IIFT mainly focuses on training students for external trade sector. Around 40,000 candidates appear for IIFT every year. The exam is generally scheduled for December and the question paper is officially released in January.

IIFT is an objective test conducted in computer-based mode. It basically evaluates a candidate’s competency in verbal ability, quantitative aptitude, data interpretation, reasoning, and GK. The exam is deemed ‘moderate to difficult’ in nature. IIFT 2021 was held on 5 December. Candidates are often eager to analyse their performance and assess their approximate score soon after the exam.

IIFT has four major sections namely, Quantitative Analysis, Reading Comprehension & Verbal Ability, Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation, and General Awareness. Usually, the total number of questions varies every year but since the last two years, the exam featured 110 questions. The duration of the exam is 2 hours, but there are no sectional time limits. However, the candidates need to clear the individual cut-offs of all sections in order to get shortlisted for the MBA programme.

Apart from helping the current test-takers, the previous year papers are also important for future aspirants to get a better overview of IIFT exam pattern and different question types. Simultaneously, it will help them improve performance and devise an appropriate strategy for the actual exam.
