IIFT 2023
The prestigious Indian Institute of Foreign Trade has a 2-stage admission process. In the first stage, it conducts an objective-type test (IIFT) to shortlist candidates for the next stage of admission. Thereafter, the shortlisted students are called for further selection rounds. IIFT exam is generally held in the month of December every year.
IIFT Exam Structure 2023
IIFT is a computer-based test, composed of multiple-choice questions. It consists of four major sections, designed to test the general aptitude of the candidates. The following table shows the detailed distribution of questions across all sections of IIFT 2023, along with their marking scheme:

Quantitative Analysis
This section is a bit difficult and involves some calculation-intensive questions. The majority of quant questions are from arithmetic and geometry. Other questions are from algebra and modern mathematics. Around half of the quant questions can be solved with good accuracy.

Data Interpretation

Reading Comprehension: RC forms a sub-section within the Verbal Ability part. This contains 4 passages with 3-5 questions after each passage. This part is a mix of easy and moderate-level questions. Ideally, around 70% of the questions can be answered accurately in VARC.
General Awareness
IIFT GK section contains a mixture of questions on current affairs and static GK, with a greater focus on the former. If your GK is strong, you can answer almost half of these questions well.
