TISSNET is conducted by Tata Institute of Social Sciences for its various programs in the specialized areas of Social Work, Social Entrepreneurship, Healthcare, Human Resources Management and Labor Relations, Globalization and Labor, etc. TISS has independent campuses in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Guwahati and Tuljapur. Its Program in HRM and Labor relations is one of the most prestigious programs in the country.
For Admissions into its various full time Post Graduate Degree Programs TISS has its own National Entrance Test i.e. TISSNET which will be held in the month of January, 2019 for the academic year 2019-2021 from 2 pm to 3.40 pm. The selection process comprises of 3 steps:
- National Entrance Test (Computer-based Exam)
- Descriptive type written test
- Personal Interview for all programs.
The weightage of these components in the final selection is as follows:
- TISSNET Online Test:- 100 Marks
- Pre-Interview Test/GD:- 50 Marks
- Personal Interview:- 75 Marks
TISSNET is a computer based test and will have objective type questions related to different domains as suggested below:
- Logical Reasoning/Analytical
- General Knowledge
- English Proficiency
- Analytical Ability
- Quantitative Ability
No negative marking shall be applicable for TISS entrance test. There will be a total of 100 multiple choice questions in the paper carrying one mark each. The exam duration is 1 hour and 40 minutes.
