TISSNET is one of the most popular entrance exams taken by candidates who want a career in Human Resource Management. The masters programmes offered by TISS in HR and Social Sciences are considered as equivalent to MBA programmes in the same offered by various institutes like XLRI.
TISSNET exam is a computer based exam which consists of multiple choice questions from 6 areas: General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, Mathematics, Data Interpretation, Verbal Ability and RC. There is no negative marking in this exam. Total duration of the exam is 1 hour 40 minutes.

Eligibility criteria for TISSNET 2020
- For admission to M.A. programmes at TISS, a bachelor's degree with minimum 3 years duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a recognized university is required.
- At the time of applying, candidates studying in three-year degree programmes should have passed all subjects from first to fourth semesters; while candidates studying in four-year degree programmes should have passed in all subjects for first to sixth semester.
- Only those candidates who are able to complete all the requirements of their final year Bachelor's Degree examinations by mid June 2020 are eligible to apply to all the programmes.
- There's no age limit for TISSNET exam.
It is very important that you submit your final mark sheets after admission as the admission to any of the masters programmes stands provisional until you do so. Those who fail to do so, the provisional admission for them stands cancelled.
