TISSNET 2023
TISSNET comprises 100 objective-type questions, to be answered within 100 minutes. Each question is of one mark and there is no negative marking. GK section of TISSNET is generally the toughest, with many socially relevant questions regularly coming up in the exam. This section tends to be the difference between getting selected and not getting selected or topping the exam, or merely passing the exam. Other sections of the exam include questions from Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension.

After the results are declared, candidates can access their TISSNET scorecard at the official site. This scorecard displays the test-taker's score, qualifying/ shortlisted status, cut-off of the applied programmes, and the personal information provided in the application. The candidates shortlisted as per TISSNET scores are called for Online Assessments (Extempore and Personal Interview). TISSNET cut-offs usually lie between 60-75, depending upon the programme. The final result of this stage is then released, and students offered admission are supposed to book their seats within the stipulated window. Then a first waitlist is released to fill the vacant seats, if any. The course generally commences around mid-June. Further lists may also be released, if needed. Note that these lists are compiled by distributing the weightage in the following sections-
