SECTIONAL - ANALYSIS:
SECTION I: General English
Evaluation: This year verbal section had all conventional types of verbal questions ranging from active-passive, grammar, vocabulary, fill-ups to reading comprehensions, sentence rearrangement etc. However verbal was a little difficult in comparison to last year’s. The verbal section was dominated by vocabulary based questions followed by reading comprehension, grammar and sentence completion based questions. The vocabulary questions were tougher this year. There were two RCs in the paper. One of the RCs was based on issue of Aadhaar card and privacy and another one was based on formation of Australia. The questions based on them were easy to moderate. A few grammar based questions purely checked the fundamentals of grammar.  There were questions based on idiomatic usage. The reading speed and knowledge of basic vocabulary will play the significant role in scoring well in this section. The overall feel of the section was easy to moderate.

SECTION II: Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation & DS
Evaluation: This section covered almost all conventional topics of Quant. There were questions based on number system, percentage, geometry, averages, permutation & combination, S.I/CI, sets, and logs etc. There were 5-6 questions based on percentage change. Some of them were verbose.  Most of the geometry questions were tricky. Question based on number system were easy and tested the candidate’s knowledge on remainders, factors, L.C.M & H.C.F etc. There were 2 DI blocks of 2 & 4 questions respectively. One was line graph while other was on pie-chart. Both the blocks were simple. There were lot of questions in this section which were having None of these as correct option which checked the conviction of the test taker. Overall the feel of the section was moderate and selection of question was important to get hold on the paper.
Comfortable Attempt18 to 22 questions in about 35 - 40 minutes.
Achievable Score11-14 was an achievable score

SECTION III: General Awareness
Evaluation: This section was dominated by current general awareness questions as mentioned in the notification itself.  This section required you to be thorough with your knowledge of Business, Sports, Movies, awards and Government Policies etc. Questions were mostly based on current affairs with no emphasis on any area. Interestingly a lot of questions were from current affairs, which were more than 12 month old.  Overall this section was tougher as options were tricky. The cut off expected in this section is not very high.
Comfortable Attempt: 5-8 questions in about 10-15 minutes.

SECTION IV: Analytical & Logical Reasoning
Evaluation: Students found this section a bit easier in comparison to last year’s. There were a few questions on blood relation, puzzles, coding, direction sense, etc.  One set of five questions (about BCG group) was tricky & verbose and should have been avoided.. There were conventional puzzles (such as shoes required for one legged and remaining population) .The series question and coding were bit confusing and time consuming. Again selection of question was also important in this section to clear the cut off.
Comfortable Attempt25 -30 questions in about 35-40 minutes.
Achievable Score16 -19 was an achievable score.
