SNAP Previous Question Papers are past SNAP papers that candidates can download to practice real question types. Those papers have three sections: English, Reasoning and Quant/DI/DS.
A fourth section has been added in SNAP 2026, Ethics, Morality and Values. SIU has not published a detailed topic list or sample papers for this section. SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) is the MBA entrance test of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for programs at 17 institutes. SNAP entrance exams will be held on three dates in December and candidates have the choice to appear for the test on all three dates. The best of the three scores will be considered for admission. About 1.5 lakh candidates appear in a typical cycle. Papers and mocks matter because SNAP is a speed CBT, not a long theory exam.

What is the SNAP exam pattern for 2026?
SNAP Previous Question Papers from 2020–2025 follow a three-section format. SNAP 2026 has four sections: General English, Quantitative Ability/Data Interpretation/Data Sufficiency, Ethics, Morality and Values, and Analytical/Logical Reasoning. It is a computer-based entrance test with 60 minutes for 60 questions.
Each question carries equal marks, and there is negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. There is no negative marking for unattempted questions, no sectional timer, and you get up to three attempts (best score counts).

When you practise SNAP previous year papers, remember: older sets do not have the Ethics, Mortality and Values section, and English/Reasoning question counts differ from 2026 (English had 15, and Reasoning had 25 questions).

Q. Does SNAP release official question papers?
A. SIU used to release official SNAP question papers. After 2019, they haven't published official papers in the same way. What you download today is usually a mix of older official papers, memory-based SNAP previous-year question papers, and expert-curated sample papers.
Use them for pattern and practice. Do not treat a memory-based paper as a word-for-word official booklet.
Q. Are SNAP previous year papers based on the SNAP 2026 pattern?
A. No, papers from 2020-2025 usually have three sections: English, Reasoning and Quant/DI/DS. SNAP 2026 has four sections. Ethics, Morality and Values is new and not in older papers.
Q. Are SNAP PYQs enough, or do I need mocks?
A. PYQs help for English, Reasoning and Quant/DI/DS style. They are not enough for SNAP 2026. The new Ethics section is not in old papers. Add a 2026-pattern SNAP Mock Test.
Q. I scored well on a PYQ. Do I have a chance to get admission to SIBM?
A. Getting a high score in SNAP guarantee does not guarantee admission to SIBM. PYQ difficulty varies, and older papers omit Ethics. SIBM Pune usually needs a high-90s SNAP percentile plus GE-PI. Confirm with current-pattern mocks.
Q. Do previous year SNAP papers still help after the pattern change?
A. Yes, for English, Reasoning and Quant/DI/DS types. Time per question is still tight. They do not cover Ethics, Morality and Values. Pair each old paper with a 2026-pattern SNAP Mock Test.
Q. What SNAP cutoff do SIBM Pune and SCMHRD need?
A. Expected bands from recent cycles: SIBM Pune about the 97-99 percentile, SCMHRD about 94-97. Not official SIU notices. A high PYQ score alone does not mean a call.
