The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is popular for its MBA in foreign trade. Every year it conducts an objective test named IIFT, generally in the month of November/December, to shortlist candidates for its MBA - International Business Program. In 2016, the exam was held on 27th November. Download the PDF of the question paper here:
The distinctive features of IIFT exam are that there are various sections and sub sections, the number of questions vary from year to year (with 124 questions in 2015), there is negative marking and sectional cut offs. This makes IIFT one of the most challenging MBA entrance exams in our country. Generally, the cut off is low, so students should thoroughly analyze the previous year papers and work on their strategy accordingly. On the same pattern IIFT 2016 Question Paper is expected to come.
The IIFT exam is of 100 marks and has 4 sections. Reading Comprehension is a sub-section of English Usage and Data Interpretation is a sub-section of the Quant section. Apart from these two sections, there is a section on Logical Reasoning and a General Awareness Section. If we look at last year’s paper, maximum marks were allocated to the quantitative ability section, i.e. 35, and least were allocated to the general awareness section, i.e. 13.
