SNAP 2024
Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is a gateway to 20+ different MBA programs offered by Symbiosis International University (SIU) and B-schools affiliated with it. Over 60,000 candidates appear for SNAP every year and vie for the limited number of admission seats. Although the exam is easier compared to other popular entrances like CAT and XAT, the competition remains high due to the limited number of affiliated institutes.

SNAP is a computer-based objective test of 60 minutes. The Exam pattern consists of three sections and the candidate has a complete choice to move between sections.

Important Information about SNAP 2024
  • SNAP is conducted in three sessions (three exam dates).
  • There are no individual sectional time limits in SNAP.
  • Candidates can appear for SNAP in all three sessions and the best of the attempts will be considered for the selection process. Registration for all three times has to be done together. For each attempt at SNAP 2024, the candidate has to deposit the application fee (Rs. 1950/-).
  • SNAP result is available in online mode only. So, once the results are announced, candidates are required to check the official website.

Different institutes set different cut-offs for SNAP. After shortlisting the candidates based on SNAP cut off, they are called or subsequent selection rounds, i.e., GD PI, and WAT. The final list is compiled after considering all the requisite factors, to which separate weightages are given.
SNAP Exam Pattern - Past Trends
The above-given pattern of SNAP has been followed since 2020. Due to the covid scenario, the structure and duration of the exam underwent certain changes. Until 2019, SNAP was a two-hour test and used to be held in one session (day) only. It was composed of 110 questions in 2019 and 130 questions in 2018. Besides, a GK section (mostly on current affairs) formed a part of SNAP exam till 2018.

No, SNAP is not really difficult. Compared to exams like CAT and XAT, SNAP is much easier to crack.

The topmost institutes associated with SIU have a cut-off of 90 percentile and above. So, it is best to target a percentile of 95-97, in order to get into a reputed B-school.

No, the GK section didn't appear in SNAP since 2019.
