XAT Cut-offs

XAT is one of the most popular and prestigious exams in our country. There are many A+ rated institutes which accept XAT scores. The most popular among these are XLRI, Jamshedpur, and XIM Bhubaneswar. The selection process starts with the written test i.e. XAT. Based on XAT cut-offs, candidates are called for the GD and PI round. The criteria for final selection include the XAT score, candidate's academic record, overall profile of the candidate, and work experience in months, etc.

The above-given table presents the program, and the sectional cut-offs declared by XLRI. Knowledge of cut-offs gives a clear picture of the level of difficulty of different sections in a paper.
The next step after clearing the test cut-offs is the Group Discussion and Personal Interview round. This process also varies from institute to institute. Some institutes have case study based GDs in which the candidate has to write the points after the discussion and submit the answer for evaluation. Also, students need to be well-prepared for the interview round as the interview panel can ask a lot of unexpected questions, just to check the confidence level of the candidate.
