Syllabus for XAT

XAT is a premier MBA entrance exam conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur. XAT is generally held on the early January every year and continuing with the same tradition, XAT 2018 is slated to be held on first week of January. XAT has always been a pen & paper test and the same continues this year as well. As an exam, XAT is tough to crack because of the intense competition and the high level of difficulty. In order to do well in this exam, it is important for test takersto develop an understanding of the XAT syllabus.
The XAT exam is divided into 2 parts, Paper I and Paper II. Paper I of the exam consists of objective type questions from the following sections: Verbal & Logical Reasoning, Decision Making, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation. Paper II consists of General Knowledge and Essay Writing. As XAT examiners haven’t given any official syllabus, we have identified the important topics based on the previous year papers.
