SNAP Syllabus 2024: Questions Distribution

SNAP is a 60-minute computer-based test, consisting of 60 multiple-choice questions. It is formulated in a way that tests the problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills of the candidates. The following table shows the section-wise distribution of questions in SNAP:

General Trends: In SNAP, the English section is primarily dominated by grammar-based and vocabulary questions. RC passages have appeared in some of the previous years' papers but did not feature in some others. Also, questions on jumbled paragraphs have an irregular appearance in SNAP. Overall, this section is slightly difficult but mostly manageable.

Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency

Quant and Data section has questions from typical areas of arithmetic, algebra, modern maths, geometry and Data interpretation. Illustrated below are the different topics that you need to prepare for the Quant section of SNAP:

General Trends: This section has more questions on common mathematical concepts than DI. It is considered moderate in difficulty level as there are few complicated questions, and most are simple to understand.

Reasoning section is composed of common topics that test the deductive and inductive abilities of the candidates. Here is an overview of reasoning topics for SNAP exam syllabus:

Here, questions from calendars, clocks, coding/decoding, blood relations, and series are mostly asked every time. Further, even puzzle-based questions are known to make a frequent appearance in SNAP.
