The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) every year for short listing candidates for post graduate programs. The MAT score is used by many institutes. MAT is conducted 4 times a year that is in February, May, September and December.
The pattern of the paper was same as that of previous years. Also the level of the questions was same. The breakup of the paper is given as follows:

Evaluation:The level of the questions was easy to moderate. Verbal Ability covered entirely every topic of English usage. Reading comprehension passages were easy and the questions were direct. There were 5 passages with 4 questions each. The other varieties of questions were error identification, Para jumbles, fill in the blanks, antonyms and one word substitution. Expected attempt in this section could be 27+.
Evaluation:This section was a bit tough than the previous MAT papers. It required lengthy calculations. The questions were from ratio & percentages, profit & loss, partnership, simple and compound interest, speed distance time, time & work, pipes & cisterns, linear & quadratic equations, permutation & combination, probability & mensuration. Some of the questions were also on trigonometry. Expected attempt in this section could be 20+.
Evaluation:This section was the easiest of all. The variety of questions was traditional like analytical reasoning, critical reasoning, and mathematical reasoning. The critical reasoning questions were based on event cause variety. Expected attempt in this section could be 30+
Evaluation:The section was moderate to difficult level. This section covered the graphs like table, bar graph, pie chart, line graph, and combination of graphs. Expected attempt in this section could be 20+
Evaluation:The level of the section was moderate. Questions were based on dynamic General Knowledge. Various questions were based on the issues like liquidity, noble prize winners, sports, banking, business, etc. If a student is into reading he/she could easily excel in this section.
