MAT 2024
Management Aptitude Test, also known as MAT, is a highly popular examination conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA). It serves as an entrance exam for admission to more than 1,000 esteemed B-Schools nationwide. The exam takes place four times a year, in February, May, September, and December. Spanning 2 hours and 30 minutes, MAT can be attempted in various modes including internet-based, computer-based, and paper-based formats.

MAT IBT sessions are scheduled for 24th Feb, 3rd & 8th March 2024 whereas the PBT and CBT-based exams will be conducted on 25th February and 10th March 2024 respectively.

Your scorecard for MAT '24 will display the following information:

How is MAT Result Computed?
The final MAT scores are based on the candidate's performance in the first four sections (Mathematical Skills, Language Comprehension, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, and Data Analysis & Sufficiency). The scores of the fifth section (Indian & Global Environment) are not considered for MAT composite scores.
Each correct response is given one mark, with a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong attempt. Scores of each section are mapped onto a scale of 0-100, and the final (composite) score is in the range of 199 to 801. MAT percentile is calculated considering the performance of the candidate vs other candidates.

What after getting MAT result?
Post the declaration of results, candidates are shortlisted by institutes they registered with, based on their MAT scores/ percentile. The shortlisted candidates are screened in GD/ PI rounds and/ or written ability test (WAT), as decided by the respective institutes. AIMA plays no role in deciding the weightage of each round.
