Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a national-level examination conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) for admission to MBA and other allied programs. The exam is conducted four times a year, in the months of: February, May, September, and December. Thousands of students take the test annually, making it one of the most popular management entrance tests of India. MAT scores are accepted by more than 600+ B-schools across the country.
MAT registrations have begun for May 2022 and candidates can apply for the exam on the official website. Here, we have given detailed guidelines for MAT registration 2022.
Since several years, MAT has been conducted in both computer-based and paper-based mode. From 2020, a third mode, remote-proctored IBT, was introduced so that students can take the exam at home only. For MAT May session, you can appear in any of the three (IBT, CBT, PBT) modes or double mode for MAT. Exam dates for MAT May 2022 session are as follows:

Note: If you opt for 2 IBT, you have the advantage of selecting two additional management institutes for sending your scores in addition to the existing option of selecting five management institutes.

Once done, you cannot change any information given in the form. You can view the complete application by clicking on ‘View Application’ and can take a printout of the same for your record. It is advisable to the candidates that they must re-check all the information before submitting the form.
It is advised that you provide correct information in the application. From 2019, the offline submission of MAT Registration Form was discontinued. So, now the candidates are required to fill in the registration form online. Later on, candidates can download their admit cards from the official website as per the mentioned dates. MAT admit cards are needed for the day of the exam.
