All India Management Association (AIMA) conducts MAT every year in February, May, September and December. Over 600 B-Schools across the country accept
MAT score for admissions to their management programs. Registrations for the MAT 2023 December session are open, and candidates can opt for single or dual mode at their convenience.

Candidates can submit their applications for MAT 2023 through the official website. In addition to the traditional paper-based test (PBT), candidates now have the flexibility to opt for the computer-based mode (CBT) or the remote-proctored internet-based test (IBT). - Aspirants can appear for either One Remote-Proctored Internet Based Test or Double Remote Proctored Internet Based Test.
- While opting for 1 IBT MAT 2023 exam date, you can select 5 management institutes where your score can be sent for admissions.
- However, when opting for 2 IBT MAT 2023 exam dates, you get the additional benefit of selecting 2 Management Institutions extra for sending MAT scores along with 5 selected institutes.

IBT MAT 2023: Key Features

- To make candidates familiar with the new exam pattern, AIMA has arranged Mock IBT MAT 2023 test sessions at nominal rates.

IBT MAT 2023: Key Requirements
- Test-takers must fulfil these requirements to be eligible to appear for the IBT MAT 2023.
- The room you sit in for the exam must be well-lit with proper lighting on your face and silence should be maintained.
- Also, you must ensure that no other person neither enters your room or interferes during the exam.
- No electronic devices like your mobile or any other gadgets should be in use at the time of the exam.
- Having a computer or laptop with a webcam is necessary.
- You must have a stable internet connection speed with a minimum speed of 512 kbps is required.
- Supported browsers for the exam are Google Chrome Version-63 and above and Firefox-Version 52 and above.
- Windows operating system required must be Windows 7 OS and above.
- Minimum supported version of Dot NET framework should be 4.5.1. NET Framework.
- Required free space on device must be 65 MB permanent free space on default hard drive.
The difficulty level of MAT is comparatively less than CAT, XAT, IIFT, and other such exams. The number of exam applicants increases every year. Further, there is no age limit to appear for the exam.
Some of the top B-schools such as the Department of Management Studies, IIT Madras, Great Lakes Institutes of Management Chennai, and Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship, Mumbai accept MAT scores, etc. The validity of the MAT score is one year. Since MAT is conducted after an interval of three months in a year, it provides a good chance for the aspirants to bag admission into the
top MBA colleges.
