IBSAT 2022 Exam Analysis
IBSAT 2022 was more or less the same in difficulty level as last year. DI and Quant questions were mostly moderate in difficulty, whereas the RC and verbal sections were quite easy to handle. Here is the detailed section-wise analysis of IBSAT 2022:
Verbal Ability
Clearly, Verbal Ability has the highest weightage in the exam. At the same time, it is also the easiest of all sections. Except for a few vocabulary questions of high difficulty level, the section was mostly composed of easy-to-understand and direct questions. These questions were based on idiom/phrase, synonyms/ antonyms, para jumbles, error correction, one-word substitution, analogy, fill-in-the-blanks, etc. So, with good vocabulary and knowledge of grammatical rules, the section could be easily aced.
An attempt of 30+ questions in 20-25 minutes would fetch a good score.

Reading Comprehension
As usual, the RC section had four passages, of 500-900 words each. While most RC questions were factual in nature, some were inferential and a little time-consuming. With good reading speed and a hold over vocabulary, this section could be mastered well.
An attempt of 21+ questions in 25 minutes fares well for a good performance in this section.
Quantitative Aptitude
Quant was composed of moderate and slightly tricky questions from algebra, arithmetic, and geometry. These were mostly from topics like ratio & proportion, time & work, progressions, percentages, probability, speed, distance & time, interest, etc. With the right shortcuts and good calculation speed, the section could be nailed with a high score.
An attempt of 19+ questions in about 25-30 minutes serves well for an effective performance here.
Data Adequacy & Data Interpretation
Considered the lengthiest section of IBSAT, DA & DI section features questions in a graphical or caselet format. In this, information is presented in the form of line graphs, bar graphs, charts, etc. Here also, the basic concepts of mathematics prove highly useful. However, the section also calls for good logical skills for the correct interpretation and deduction of the given data.
An attempt of 18+ questions makes for a high score in this section.
GIM
After IBSAT 2022 results are out, the candidates are called for further selection rounds and allotted the campus according to their overall merit.
