IBS Programs: PGPM Vs MBA
There is no such difference in the components or course structure of PGPM and MBA. However, some campuses offer MBA, while others provide PGPM. This is because MBA is generally offered by the institutes affiliated with a certain university, while PGPM can be provided by independent or private institutes. Since the IBS campuses at Ahmedabad, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune are independent professional institutes and not connected to or act as off-campus locations for any university, they offer PGPM course.
IBS Selection Process
The above-mentioned campuses also take admissions through various other management exams such as CAT, XAT, NMAT, and GMAT. After the declaration of result, IBSAT colleges will declare a list of candidates based on their cutoffs. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for Interview rounds. After the selection process is over, the final merit list is released in February/March.
You can follow their registration/application procedure for further details from the respective Institution's website or their Admissions office.
