TISSNET 2024
TISSNET is a computer-based test, composed of objective questions from various areas of aptitude and general knowledge. The duration of the test is 100 minutes and there are no sectional time limits. The following table shows the section-wise format of TISSNET exam:

Albeit the moderate difficulty level of TISSNET, you must have a well-planned strategy to attain high scores. TISSNET Syllabus 2024
The topics for various sections of TISSNET are somewhat similar to the ones for other management entrance tests. However, unlike other exams, the weightage of GK section is comparatively higher in TISSNET. The rest of the sections consist of general topics of Mathematics, Reasoning, and English. Given below is the sectional breakup of TISSNET syllabus along with the weightage of important topics:
Mathematics and Logical Reasoning
This section tends to evaluate the numerical and analytical abilities of the candidates. It has questions from arithmetic, geometry, reasoning, data interpretation, etc. Around 12-14 of the questions are from arithmetic-based topics and 4-7 from DI sets. English Proficiency
Similar to the verbal ability section of other entrance exams, the English Proficiency section of TISSNET includes reading comprehension passages and grammar/vocabulary-based questions. Usually, there are two RC passages in this section, with a total of 10 questions. Other crucial area is fill-in-the-blanks based on vocab or grammar rules, with 7-8 questions. The remaining questions are fetched from verbal reasoning topics. Here is the list of topics for English proficiency section:

General Awareness
This forms the most important part of TISSNET syllabus. It basically tests your grasp of static GK and latest events/issues/happenings. For this, you will need to update yourself in the following areas:

  • Science
