SNAP 2023 PREPARATION: APPROACH & STRATEGY
Even though the SNAP has a very low level of difficulty, it is nonetheless essential to put in at least three to six months' effort of commitment into rigorous preparation. Learning to perform calculations swiftly and accurately is essential if you want to succeed on the SNAP exam. However, before you start your preparation, you need to be sure that you have a thorough understanding of the exam format and the syllabus.
You need to start your SNAP Preparation in a focused manner as soon as you are familiar with the topics that are regularly covered on the exam. The following are some professional insights that will assist you in streamlining your preparation for the SNAP 2023 exam:
  • Start reviewing the fundamentals of all crucial subjects once you have obtained the appropriate books and study resources for SNAP. Most of the questions on the SNAP exam come from the foundational subject areas of mathematics, reasoning, and English.
  • Get in the habit of reading regularly by picking up some newspapers, magazines, novels, etc. Your reading comprehension, as well as your vocabulary, will significantly improve as a result. In the meantime, familiarise yourself with the fundamental principles and practises of correct grammar. Things of this nature will, in a timely manner, cause you to succeed the SNAP General English section.
  • Concerning the quantitative portion of the exam, you have to educate yourself on the basic methods and formulas that are associated with the fundamental subject matter, such as arithmetic, algebra, and other related topics. Using these strategies, you will also be better equipped to answer concerns pertaining to data interpretation and data sufficiency.
  • The reasoning section of the exam contains a wide range of different question types, the majority of which do not involve any standard formulas. Therefore, if you want to do well in this area, you must practice answering questions like these from SNAP Previous Year's' exams and topic-wise practice tests.
Practicing is necessary for all SNAP sections, but it's especially important for the ones that include math. In addition, considering that the SNAP is an exam centred on speed, you need to spend a few weeks entirely devoting on SNAP Mock Tests and going over the material. While doing so, keep an eye on your performance and identify your strong and weak points. You will be able to make the necessary adjustments to your study plan and exam strategy once you are mindful of these areas.
SNAP ANALYSIS
SNAP Analysis reflects on the key changes in the overall and sectional SNAP exam pattern. It also makes predictions on SNAP cut-offs, among other things, to assist test takers in assessing their performance in SNAP 2023 and their admission chances in top Symbiosis institutes.
Additionally, SNAP Analysis estimates how the difficulty level of the test will evolve between now and 2023.
SECTION I: GENERAL ENGLISH
This part follows a similar format to the one from the previous years. The English section is mostly made up of grammar-based questions, such as fill-in-the-blank or parts-of-speech questions. This section also includes a few compound terms and questions about spelling.
SECTION II: ANALYTICAL AND LOGICAL REASONING
This segment is easy to moderate in difficulty, however, it is a little longer. Questions on coding and decoding, blood relationships, logical order, and missing numbers and letters are covered in this part. Verbal and critical thinking, including assumptions, arguments, inference and conclusion, cause and effect, etc., usually dominate this section. A handful of the questions are based on puzzles.
SECTION III: QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE, DATA INTERPRETATION & DATA SUFFICIENCY
The difficulty level of this section is moderate. Typical topics covered in this section included percentages, ratio partnerships, number series, set theory, averages, permutations, and probability, among others. The DI-based problems are a little challenging because they require a lot of calculations.   The section has a moderate overall feel, and the choice of questions is crucial to grasp the paper.
