Latest Update: IIM Calcutta, the conducting body for CAT 2024, released the notification for the exam. The registration window is between 1 August (10:00 AM) to 13 September (5:00 PM). The exam is set to be conducted on 24th November 2024.
Majority of the RC passages in CAT are fetched from non-fiction books, newspapers and magazines. 'Non-fiction' covers a wide range of topics, but it's usually not as exciting as fiction. Non-fiction pieces lack the exciting elements like plot, interesting characters, drama, or action, which can make them seem dull. Non-fiction books mainly offer plain facts and real-life situations. However, reading non-fiction is necessary if you want to excel in the CAT exam. So, how should you approach it?
