The NMAT 2026 test has started, and we now have initial reports from the first week of testing. The exam continues to be computer-adaptive, meaning the difficulty of subsequent questions adjusts based on your performance in the previous ones. Candidates must answer every question in sequence and cannot skip or go back to previous questions.
The overall difficulty level of NMAT 2026 remains largely similar to NMAT 2025. However, different test slots have shown variations in question types and difficulty. The Quantitative Skills section continues to be the most challenging and time-consuming. Logical Reasoning is more straightforward this year, offering a good scoring opportunity.
