Candidate should have a Bachelor Degree or equivalent from a recognized university. Most IIMs place a criterion of minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in Bachelor Degree.
Candidate needs to have a valid GMAT/GRE scores. These scores are valid for five years. There is no well-defined cut off for GRE/GMAT since work experience carries the highest weightage. The average GMAT score is 706 (out of 800), and the average GRE score is 320 (out of 340). Some IIMs also consider CAT/XAT or their own entrance test for admission to their Executive MBA programmes.
Candidate needs to possess a full-time work experience of minimum 3-5 years, as specified by the particular IIM.
The final selection rounds consist of written ability test and personal interview.

For MBA-PGPX in IIMA, there is a minimum age limit of 25 years.
IIML offers the Executive MBA programmes (WMP & IPMX) at its Noida campus.
Unlike other IIMs, IIM Calcutta & IIM Shillong requires the candidate to have a valid score of GMAT taken within three years of application date. Further, IIM Kashipur considers the CAT/GMAT scores of last two years only.
