The programme is accredited by AMBA, the Association of MBAs (UK). It focuses on developing leaders who will excel in the rapidly changing business environment, become agents of change and be charged with a customer centric orientation.

In 1987, MDI Gurgaon introduced the country’s first full-time Executive Graduate Programme in Management, known as the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (National Management Programme). The programme has been restructured and is now offered as an 18-month Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Business Management.
The PGDM-BM shapes visionary leaders for a fast-changing business world, building the skills to drive transformation and attracting talent from diverse industries and global backgrounds.
Key highlights include half crdit course by International faculty and a three-day Experiential Learning module on Leadership Competency Development.

Programme Structure

The programme has five terms of course work followed by a dissertation project.
An academic term is of twelve weeks duration which includes mid-term and end-term examination.
A participant has to earn a minimum 103.5 credits from 32 courses in which 21 are core courses and 11 are elective courses (3 credits from 29 courses & 1.5 credits from 3 courses) plus 9 credits from dissertation.
There is a 1.5 credit Experiential Outbound Leadership Training Programme & 1.5 Credit National Immersion Programme.
Each student has to undergo National Immersion module and experiential learning module on leadership competency development. The expenses for National Immersion module shall be borne by the students on actual basis in addition to the fees.
The students will also undertake industry live projects, 2 practice-oriented courses & Dissertation Synopsis submission in the month of August 2026.
The compulsory dissertation / project may be taken up at the workplace and is required to be presented before a panel of experts.

Fee Structure & Payment Schedule

The fees for general participants of PGDM-BM 2026 is INR 18,50,000/- (Incl. Security deposit of INR 27,500/- (Refundable) and Alumni Fee of INR 15,000/- ). The fee includes Tuition fee, Cost of Learning Material, basic accommodation facility on campus (double occupancy*), Meals charges, Library services & student activities fee).

* Rs. 2,99,600 – In case of single occupancy

Tution Fee and other charges for NRI participants (excluding boarding and lodging charges) is US$ 27,240

NOTE: MDI Gurgaon reserves the right to enhance fee and other charges at any point of time during the Academic Year. Due notice would be given, while making such changes.

Part B – INTERNATIONAL IMMERSION COMPONENT

There is also a provision of International Immersion Module. The expenses for the International Immersion Module shall be borne by the students on an actual basis in addition to the programme fees.

Candidates who will apply till March 30, 2026 would be shortlisted for Phase 1 of Personal Interview to be conducted on April 18/19, 2026. Candidates applying after March 30, 2026 will be considered for Phase 2 of admission cycle.

Eligibility

The Applicants must have 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in both class X and XII.
The Applicants must have minimum 3-year Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from any University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State legislature in India or other educational Institutions established by an Act of the Parliament or declared as deemed to be University under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956 or possess and equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
A minimum of 3-year of post-qualification work experience as on 31st March 2026.

Only paid and full-time work experience required, acquired after completing the Bachelor's Degree. Apprenticeship, Articleship, Internship etc. which form an integral plan of a course of study should not be treated as work experience.

Self-Sponsored /Sponsored Candidates through CAT 2025 /GMAT / XAT 2026

The Applicants must have Common Admission Test (CAT-2025) / a valid GMAT / XAT 2026 score to be eligible for the admission to PGDM-BM.

Online Application Process

The online application form for PGDM-BM Programme of MDI Gurgaon shall be available on the MDI website https://www.mdi.ac.in. with necessary instructions.
Online registration will be open till Monday, June 10, 2026, 17:00 hrs.
Applicants have to make an online payment of Rs.3000 (Rupees three thousand only) inclusive of 18% GST.
NRI Applicants for MDI Gurgaon will have to make an online payment of Rs. 5,000 (Rupees Five Thousand only) inclusive of 18% GST.

Selection Process

Shortlisting of Applicants for the selection process will be done on the basis of the details provided in the application form and their CAT or GMAT or XAT scores. The Applicants would be shortlisted on the basis of their GMAT/CAT/XAT scores will be called for Personal Interview on April 18/19, 2026 (Tentatively) for Phase 1 and on June 20/21, 2026 (tentatively) for phase 2.
Shortlisted Applicants will be called for Personal Interview in online mode.
