ATMA was held on 27 February, 2022 and its result was declared on 4 March, 2022. After the exam, the aspirants must go through the detailed analysis to evaluate their performance or prepare for the next session.
Conducted at the national level, ATMA is facilitated by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) for admission to MBA, PGDM, MMS, MCA, and other post-graduate management courses offered by 700+ institutes across India. For each session, nearly 20,000 candidates appear for the exam.

ATMA 2022: Overall Analysis
ATMA is a computer-based exam of moderate difficulty. It evaluates the candidate’s skills in three basic areas: reasoning, English language, and mathematics. This time, the exam was slightly trickier than the previous year. Given below are the main features of ATMA 2022:

ATMA 2022: Sectional Analysis
ATMA 2022 exam displayed a wide range of difficulty levels across all six sections. While the quantitative part was a little lengthy and a bit tough, the verbal section was quite easy and simple to manage. The reasoning section had a medium level of difficulty. Analytical Reasoning Skills (Part I & II)
Reasoning questions were mostly moderate in nature, except for a few lengthy questions. This section was dominated by critical reasoning and had questions from Coding-Decoding, Puzzles, Input-Output, and Inference-based topics. Since these topics have always appeared in the ATMA exam, the section was on expected lines and smoothly doable.
An attempt of 21+ questions (each part) fares well for a good score in this section.
Verbal Skills (Part I & II)
In ATMA Feb session, the verbal section had a majority questions from reading comprehension passages. These were lengthy but easy to understandand attempt the related questions. The remaining questions were based on evaluating the grammatical knowledge of candidates. There were no direct questions on vocabulary-based topics like synonyms, antonyms, etc. Overall, this section was the easiest of all sections.
An attempt of 19+ accurate attempts (each part)suffices for a good performance in this section.
Quantitative Skills (Part I & II)
The toughest of all sections, quantitative part featured questions from arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and modern maths. Many questions were time-consuming and required smart tricks for quicker solutions. DI and modern maths composed a large part of this section, while the remaining questions were from number system, profit and loss, and other topics.
An attempt of 18+ questions (each part)with high accuracy works well for a good score in the section.
After the ATMA result is out, the candidates are shortlisted for the next selection rounds that include GD, WAT, and Interview. Finally, admission is granted as per the range of factors like your ATMA score, performance in GD/PI/WAT, academic profile, etc.
