IIM Lucknow announces baseline cut-off

IIM Lucknow announced the admission criteria and the weightage awarded to CAT 2017 scores for admission to PGP 2018-20 batch. The announcement of the shortlisting criteria and the admission policy made it clear that this B-school would prefer candidates who have excellent academic record and diversity along with work experience for the 2018-20 batch. A minimum 85 sectional percentile and minimum 90 overall percentile in CAT 2017 exam - which will be held on November 26, 2017 - should be scored by the aspirant.
Even if you score a little low in CAT exam this year, you can expect to get shortlisted if you have an excellent academic record and are keen on getting into the PGP 2018-20 programme at IIM Lucknow. In the 1st stage shortlisting IIM Lucknow has reduced the weightage to 60% from 78% (2016 admissions) and in the final selection CAT 2017 scores will be awarded a low weightage of only 30% in PGP.
In case a high number of CAT takers achieve the minimum percentile, the CAT cut off may go up during the short listings stages. However, the candidates may not get shortlisted by IIM Lucknow without meeting the minimum requirement - after the CAT 2017 result is announced in the second week of January 2018.
