Being the premier college of all times, Delhi University has never failed to attract students to its colleges and courses. Started in 1922, the university had courses in arts and science, and three colleges were set up –St. Stephens, Hindu, and Ramjas. Today the university comprises 90 Colleges, 16 Faculties, 87 Departments, 16 Centres and 500 Programmes. The university conducts various admission tests for admissions to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level programmes.
