IIM Visakhapatnam Cut Off

Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Visakhapatnam is a new generation IIM, set up by the govt. of India in 2015. The Institute offers a two-year residential Post Graduate Program MBA, under the mentorship of IIM Bangalore. Recently, it has started a novel Post-Graduate Certificate Program in Business Management for Experienced Professionals (PGCEP) with atleast three years of work experience. Admission to PGCEP is done through its own written test and a personal interview.
The first shortlisting for PGP MBA is done on the basis of CAT scores. This year, the cut off percentile is as follows:
Overall cut off: 90
Sectionwise cut off:
VARC cut off: 85
DILR cut off: 80
QA cut off: 80
The final selection considers the candidate’s score in CAT, Academic Performance, Work Experience, performance in Personal Interview (PI), Written Ability Test (WAT) score, etc. The weightage criteria for various factors are as follows:
CAT score: 25%
PI: 25%
WAT: 5%
Academic Performance (class 10th, 12th and graduation marks): 20%
Work Experience: 5%
Diversity (female/transgender/non-engineer): 20%
