The admission process of IIM Tiruchirappalli considers the candidate’s performance in CAT, performance in Personal Interview (PI), educational background, gender diversity, and the quality of work experience of the candidates.
Last year, IIM Trichy conducted the CAP Counselling process. The overall qualifying CAT 2021 Cut off for the general category candidates was 92, and the sectional cut-off was 70 for each section. For 2022, the cut-off will remain around the same figures

For the purpose of selecting applicants for PI, IIMT will use CAT percentile. The minimal performance required of applicants to be shortlisted for the PI is shown in the table below. Please be aware that being selected for shortlisting in the CAT requires more than just meeting the cut-off percentile.
