IIM Bodh Gaya Admission Procedure 2020-2022

IIM Bodh Gaya has introduced admission criteria for admissions to its MBA Batch 2020-2022. The batch size for 2020-2022 MBA programs is likely to be 150. However, IIM Bodh Gaya reserves the right to modify admission criteria and cut-offs. IIM Bodh Gaya aims to identify meritorious candidates for admissions to its management programs under each category. In addition, IIM Bodh Gaya ensures balance in opportunities among different among different genders and subjects. IIM Bodh Gaya duly recognizes academic merit consistency and experience.

IIM Bodh Gaya reserves 30 seats for supernumerary for girl candidates in the MBA Programme. 

IIM Bodh Gaya’s admission process consists of:
  • CAT Examination

  • Shortlisting Candidates for Personal Appearance (PA) process

  • Conducting the PA process composed of Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview 

  • Preparing final merit list based on CAT score, WAT & PI score and Profile score indicated in detail below. 

*PA Process will be common to all the 9 IIMs, namely, IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Jammu, IIM Kashipur, IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Trichy, and IIM Udaipur.

Criteria for Shortlisting to PA (WAT & PI) Process

Cut-off percentile for eligibility to PA process in three sections and total CT percentile for different categories of students are given below:

IIM Bodh Gaya Admission Committee will decide the number of candidate who would be called for the PA process based on the criteria prepared for each category. If the number of shortlisted candidates is found to be less (more) than the required number of candidates to be called for WAT & PI category-wise, then the overall as well as section-wise score will be reduced (increased) to get desired number of candidates.

Criteria for Preparing the Merit List

The criteria for preparing merit list will be as follows:

  • CAT Score – 40%

  • Personal Appearance – 30% 

  • Profile – 30%

Academic Profile – 12%

  • 10th Standard : 4%

  • 12th Standard : 4%

  • Graduation : 4%
