CBT MAT 2026: Key Requirements
  • Test-takers must fulfil these requirements to be eligible to appear for the CBT MAT 2026.
  • The room you sit in for the exam must be well-lit with proper lighting on your face and silence should be maintained.
  • Also, you must ensure that no other person neither enters your room nor interferes during the exam.
  • No electronic devices like your mobile or any other gadgets should be in use at the time of the exam.
  • Having a computer or laptop with a webcam is necessary.
  • You must have a stable internet connection speed with a minimum speed of 512 kbps is required.
  • Supported browsers for the exam are Google Chrome Version-63 and above and Firefox-Version 52 and above.
  • Windows operating system required must be Windows 7 OS and above.
  • Minimum supported version of the Dot NET framework should be 4.5.1. NET Framework.
  • Required free space on device must be 65 MB permanent free space on default hard drive.
The difficulty level of MAT is comparatively less than CAT, XAT, SNAP, and other such exams. The number of exam applicants increases every year. Further, there is no age limit to appear for the exam.
Some of the top B-schools such as the Department of Management Studies, IIT Madras, Great Lakes Institutes of Management Chennai, and Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship, Mumbai accept MAT scores, etc. The validity of the MAT score is one year. Since MAT is conducted after three months in a year, it provides a good chance for the aspirants to bag admission into the top MBA colleges.
