About IIM Amritsar

The Ministry of Education supported the establishment of IIM (Indian Institute of Management) Amritsar, the 15th IIM, with funding from the Government of Punjab. It was founded in 2015 and is a public business school and an INI (Institute of National Importance). In accordance with the Outlook - ICARE MBA Ranking 2021, IIM Amritsar is rated in 27th place.

Currently, the Post Graduate Program in Management is available at IIM Amritsar. This program's goal is to deliver top-notch management education and produce highly intelligent management experts who can satisfy the needs of businesses in all industries.

Similar to last year, in order to be eligible to take part in the IIM Amritsar admissions procedure this year, a candidate must get at least an 85 percentile on the CAT (General category).

IIM Amritsar Selection Criteria

IIM Amritsar will choose the applicants for admission to its 2021–2023 batch of postgraduate management programmes using a two-stage screening procedure.

Only applicants who successfully complete registration by the deadline and who reach the requisite CAT 2021 percentile cutoff will be considered for stage 2 of the admissions process for admission to PGP 2022–24 at IIM Amritsar.

The following criteria will be used to create the final merit list for admission to IIM Amritsar.
