Institute of Financial Management and Research (IFMR), Chennai offers a full-time two year MBA program with a strong foundation in Finance. In 2017, IFMR changed to IFMR Business School to provide MBA under the auspices of the KREA University. Admission is facilitated by a minimum cut off score in CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT/ GMAT/ GRE. The following table shows the actual cut-off of 2021. The cut-off for 2022 session will be almost the same:

Based on the entrance exam scores, candidates are called for the written ability test (WAT) and a personal interview. The final selection is made on the basis of candidate’s academic profile, entrance exam score and performance in interview. Apart from the general admission round, the selection process incorporates an Early Decision Round (EDR) for the candidates with work experience. These candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their profile.
