XIMB is a sister institution of XLRI and is one of the most well known B-schools in the country. XIMB has made a niche for itself in management education by dint of its excellent track record and orientation. The XIMB (Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar) requires a three-year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks from a recognized university. The candidates who expect to complete their degree by a certain date can also apply. The XIMB cut off is based on XAT/ CAT/ GMAT/XGMT/NMAT. The cutoff figures is the minimum score required to be called for personal interview. But we must remember that the cutoff is a primary filter and only those getting high enough scores can hope to get final admission. The XIMB cutoff figures varies from year to year a little, but these variations are minor in nature.
The Institute short-lists the candidates to be called for Written Ability Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The WAT, GD & PI are held in several cities all over India. The final selection is on the basis of XAT/CAT/NMAT/GMAT/XGMT score, Written Ability Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview (which considers the academic record and work experience also). Along with overall cut off, XIMB places sectional cut off criteria for all the entrance exams. The latest cut off figures for XIMB are around the following percentiles:
|Emotional Quotient & General Awareness||50|
