JBIMS Cut off

Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies or JBIMS is a department of the University of Mumbai started in collaboration with the Stanford University in 1965 , is widely known across the country for its post graduate programmes in Management and Business studies. JBIMS offers full time MBA programs along with full time and part-time specializations like Masters in Finance and a doctoral PhD programme.

The selection criteria for JBIMS includes MHCET score for its flagship MBA programme ,CAT/MHCET score for Masters in Finance for Indian students and GMAT scores for NRI students. The cutoff figures for JBIMS are as follows:

  • CAT Score - 95+ percentile
  • MH-CET - 98+ percentile 

The MH-CET paper this year was comparatively easy, which might result in higher expected cut-off scores. The JBIMS selection process includes a personal assessment round for the shortlisted candidates comprising of a group activity, personal interview and written ability test in Mumbai. NRI applicants would have to undergo Skype interviews. The admission process would be facilitated based on the combined scores of the entrance test, personal assessment and past academic and extracurricular activities.
