For admission to its MBA programme, the IMT Ghaziabad cut off is used to shortlists candidates for personal interview and group discussion on the basis of XAT, CAT and GMAT scores. The better/ the best score among the submitted scores is considered while preparing the shortlist. For the IMT Ghaziabad cut off in its main campus, the applicants are short-listed for interviews based on one of the submitted scores. However, for IMT Nagpur and Hyderabad, the applicants are short-listed on the basis of CAT, XAT CMAT or valid GMAT scores. while short-listing the applicants. But getting past the cutoff figures is only half the job done as the candidate has to do well in the second round. Please note that the cutoff figures considers the aggregate scores and doesn't apply separate sectional cut-offs also. The final admission offer depends on work experience, academic performance, written communication test and personal interview. This year, the cut off percentiles for three campuses are:
IMT Ghaziabad: 90+ (CAT/XAT/GMAT)
IMT Nagpur: 80+ (CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT)
IMT Hyderabad: 70+ (CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT)
IMT doesn't have any sectional cut offs. The IMT Ghaziabad cut off in the past has been lower than that for the IIMs, MDI and FMS. Thus, this year too, we expect to be on similar lines as in the past. The IMT Ghaziabad cut off is announced by IMT at the time of declaration of CAT results, which is a few weeks after the test is over.
