IIT Delhi uses the CAT score to short list candidates for the second round consisting of group discussion and interview for admission to its MBA programme. IIT Delhi requires a 4-year Bachelor's Degree in Engineering /Master's Degree in certain disciplines with first division. The IIT Delhi MBA cut off is decided by the admissions committee after considering the number of applicants, their relative scores and its internal benchmarks. The IIT Delhi MBA cutoff figures act as a basic filter used to select candidates for the next round of the admission process.
The first and foremost information after appearing for Common Admission Test (CAT) is knowing the cutoff figures for the various B -Schools. The last date of application at most B-schools is between November and January. With your CAT score, you can apply to the B-schools where the cut off is equal to or less than your CAT score. So if you have done engineering and are keen on an MBA from a good college, you can apply to IIT Delhi for an MBA program if your score is reasonably above the cutoff figures.Depending on the cutoff, you may be called for the next round of the selection process i.e. Group Discussion and Personal Interview.Academic excellence and good Work Experience will fetch the most weightage during the final selection process.
