Among the IIMs, IIM Shillong is a young one but in a short time, it has carved a niche for itself. It has announced the criteria for admission to its MBA class. The IIM Shillong Cut Off will be applied, based on academic records and CAT sectional percentiles. At IIM Shillong, a cutoff criteria is used to select suitable candidates for further admission processes. The first phase would include the declaration of the shortlist for Personal Interview (PI) and the second phase involves the preparation of a final merit list for admission to the batch. The cutoff figures are decided according to the number of applications, the applicants' performance and other things. The cutoff figures for IIM Shillong are announced once the CAT results are declared. Though the cutoff figures can vary a little from year to year, it is expected to be the similar like the last year's figures. Unlike other IIMs, IIM Shillong doesn't have an overall CAT cutoff but only sectional cutoffs.
This year, CAT sectional cut off for IIM Shillong is 75 percentile (for each section). Also, the candidates need to have 80% marks in class X and XII.

IIM Shillong will first segregate the candidates as per the discipline offered in graduation degree and then prepare a merit list.
