The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad has been voted as the finest MBA college in India many times. While the IIM Ahmedabad cutoff figures for its 2-year PGP has been around 80 percentile in the recent years, it changes depending on many variables. The IIM Ahmedabad cutoff figures also considers the sectional scores. Apart from this, IIM A allots rating to other variables: Class X marks, class XII marks, graduation marks, etc.
This year, sectional cut off is 70 percentile.
A. Some exceptional performers from diverse backgrounds are to be identified and directly shortlisted for the second phase on the basis of their CAT scores. However, beyond this stage, all the shortlisted candidates will be on par and will be assessed on the Aggregate Score (based on CAT/GMAT, Academic Rating (AR) and (WA-PI Scores) in each category, despite the IIM Ahmedabad cutoff.
B. Application Rating: The IIM Ahmedabad cutoff considers the applicant's academic performance in the 10th, 12th and Degree Examinations.
