IIM Indore is known for a wide range of management programmes. Its cutoff is based on academic records and sectional percentiles in the CAT. After shortlisting, the candidates are called for the second round of written analysis, interview etc. The first phase involves the preparation of a shortlist for Personal Interview (PI) and in the second phase, a final merit list for admission to the batch is prepared. The cutoff is determined in line with the number of applicants and their relative performance among other things. IIM Indore's cutoff figures is announced once the CAT results are declared. Although there can be a slight deviation in the cutoff figures, we expect it to remain the same as it was last year.
On the basis of variables like academics, score in the second round, experience, extra-curricular achievements and exceptional achievements, IIM Indore decides the number of candidates to be called. The shortlisted candidates have to appear for a Personal Interview and Written Analysis round. Only 20% weightage is provided to the Common Admission Test (CAT) scores and all components mentioned are taken into consideration during the final selection process. The final weightage given to various variables is as follows:
CAT score: 20%
PI: 40%
WAT: 20%
Class X marks: 10%
Class XII marks: 10%
