The Corporate Internship Program (CIP) at FIIB is a rigorous 12 week engagement with the corporate world where each student gets a hand-on experience of working with a company in the preferred area of specialization and career track.
The challenges thrown by the situation of lockdown due to the on-going pandemic didn’t have much of an effect on the internship selection and on-boarding process as both we at FIIB and also our CIP partner organisations were already equipped with the process and technological tools to run the process smoothly on the virtual mode.

Myriad of Opportunities in Different Sectors
A total of 34 companies offered internship opportunities to the batch from various industries like FMCG, Retail, Banking, NBFC, Edutech, Consulting & Research, Media, Logistics, Shipping, Fintech and Manufacturing. A variety of profiles were offered to the students which includes Sales, Business Development, Digital Marketing, Content Writing, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Corporate Finance, Equity Advisory, Portfolio Management, Financial Analysis & Research, Freight forwarding, International logistics and sales.
An Uninvited Pandemic Calls for Lasting Connections
Though the recent lockdowns in mid-April 2021 being enforced in a lot of states in India, including the state of Delhi, has resulted in a few companies cancelling the internship offers due to the nature of work they are into, but this hasn’t halted the plans of getting timely alternative CIP opportunity for the FIIB students as we had sufficient online internship available with us across functions and specialisations.
The core focus of any experiential learning program at FIIB, including the CIP, has been on the learning outcomes delivered to the students. Such real-life practical experiential learning helps a student tackle the future challenges of doing a full-time job and shaping one's career.
