SDA Bocconi is the leading School of Management in Italy, currently ranked third Business School in Europe by Financial Times and is among the few elite business schools worldwide to have the triple crown accreditation - AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS.
The International Master in Business (IMB) program is a specialized master program offered at SDA Bocconi Asia Center, Mumbai. The program comprises of two 11-month modules, which includes a four-month semester at the Bocconi Milan campus. Upon graduation the IMB candidates are awarded a Master diploma by SDA Bocconi, Italy and become a part of the global Bocconi Alumni Community.

What was/is the admissions process for IMB?
Candidates must submit their application before the application deadlines with one or more of the accepted entrance test scores (CAT, NMAT, GMAT, GRE or the Bocconi Test), post their application submission their profiles are evaluated holistically, and high caliber students are invited for the personal interview round. The profile-based selection process allows students to showcase their overall candidature beyond just the test scores i.eextra-curriculars,soft skills, leadership potential & community work.

The total batch size was 116 students, with a 1:1 gender ratio. An average age of 24 years, the batch had a distinctive mix of students coming from 19 different Indian States & Union territories. With corporates demanding a more diverse workforce, SDA Bocconi Asia Center presented a great proposition to potential recruiters.

The average work experience of the students before joining the program was 1.3 Years. With freshers representing 35% of the batch & 24% of the batch had more than 24 months of work experience. What isthe highest and average salary offer to the IMB Batch 2018-20?
SDA Bocconi Asia Center has seen a steady increase in the placement figures since its inception in 2012. Even with challenges of Covid being felt across all top institutions, the IMB students rose to the challenge & performed well in their placement season. With the highest salary at 19.8Lpa and the average at 11.8Lpa for the IMB Batch of 2018-20. Please note these figures are not inclusive of international offers.
What is the sector wise representation of the participating companies?
E-Commerce /Retail /Digital Marketing companies led the pack with 25% representation among the recruiters. Consulting(14%), IT / TLC (13%), FMCG / FMCD (11%), Pharma / Healthcare(8%), HR Consulting(7%),Analytics/ Artificial Intelligence/Emerging Technologies(6%), BFSI/ Investment Banking (6%) were some of the other highlights.
