MICA Ahmedabad is gearing up for its forthcoming International Communication Management Conference (ICMC ) 2020, which will bring research scholars and industry experts on its campus. Spanning over three days, the conference based on the theme 'Managing Businesses in the Digital Economy' will commence on January 8.
The last date to submit papers for the conference is September 15. Interestingly, the academic partner - Broad College of Business, Michigan State University, USA has been ranked #1 in Supply Chain Management programmes. As a precursor to the event, the conference will host Young Scholars and Researchers Consortium (YSRC), that aims at providing a platform to doctoral candidates, young managers and practitioners from the industry as well as early career academics and postdoctoral candidates to present their research papers.
Discussions around global business ecosystems, challenges, communication and marketing innovations in changing paradigms, etc will be the highlight of ICMC 2020. The overarching objective of the conference is to understand effective management strategies employed by practitioners in the current digital era and gain insights of its impact on operational, financial, human resource and strategic marketing aspects of business.
The keynote speakers of the conference will be Professor Sanjay Gupta, Dean, Broad College of Business, Michigan State University & professor Prabu David, Dean, College of Communication Arts and Sciences., Michigan State University, along with industry panelists Sushant Dash, President - India and Middle East, Tata Global Beverages, Bangalore, India and Piyush Chowhan, Chief Information Officer, Arvind Lifestyle Brands.
