MICA, Ahmedabad, is delighted to announce its 6th International Communication Management Conference (ICMC 2020). The theme for this year is ‘Managing Businesses in the Digital Economy’ and it will be held at the MICA campus from January 8 to 10, 2020.
Spanning over three days, the conference is being organized in association with the elite Broad College of Business, Michigan State University, USA. As a precursor to the event, the conference will host Young Scholars and Researchers Consortium (YSRC) that aims at providing a platform to doctoral candidates, young managers and practitioners from the industry as well as early career academics and postdoctoral candidates to present their research papers.

The YSRC will be inaugurated on January 8, 2020 by Mr.Ajit Mishra, Director, Institute of Economic Growth, Government of India and the Keynote address on January 9, 2020 will be delivered by Sanjay Gupta, Eli & Edythe L.Broad Dean, Broad College of Business, Michigan State University.
On January 10, an industry panel discussion comprising of experts from top Indian companies will be held. The panel will include Mr Sushant Dash, President-India & Middle East, Tata Global Beverages Ltd., Ms.Arnika Dixit, Country Head- Digital Marketing and Data Analytics, Citibank, Mr.Premchand C, Executive Director, Avalon Consulting, Chennai and Ms.DeepaliNaair, Chief Marketing Officer, IBM (India & South Asia).
The concluding valedictory function will be presided over by Mr.Viswanath P, Executive Director at KPMG, India.
ICMC will also host a special workshop on ‘Unstructured Big Data Analytics for Research using Python’ by Mathangi Sri, Head of Data Science at PhonePe.
As a part of the cultural immersion, renowned Indian contemporary dancer and Padma Shri AstadDeboo will grace the cultural night of January 9, 2020 with his breath-taking dance performance.

The blend of the industry panel by stalwarts from FMCG, consulting, banking and technology bigwigs adds a new dimension to the conference.”
