BIMTECH Alumna, Ms. Pallavi Singh takes over as Marketing Director at BMW India

BIMTECH Alumni are scaling new heights of success with each passing year. We congratulate Ms. Pallavi Singh, pass out of batch 2005-2007 for becoming the Marketing Director at BMW India. Ms. Singh moves to BMW India from MG Motor India where she was the Marketing Head. Prior to MG Motor, Ms. Singh was Director, Marketing for Harley-Davidson India.

Industrial Visit to the retail giant, Best Price- Walmart in Meerut

Walmart India owns and operates 26 Best Price Modern Wholesale stores in India. Our first-year Students of Retail Management program visited the retail giant, Best Price- Walmart in Meerut, where they got hands-on experience of the retail world and the entire operations of Retail Marketing. It was an intuitive visit and a great learning experience to understand the nuances and realities of the shop floor, which in itself is a rare exposure. It was a great learning experience for future retailers.

BIMTECH received the Silver Award by Hon’ble Former President of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee

Indian Management Conclave (IMC) is India's definitive annual Management Education Conference & Awards Platform, organized by MBAUniverse.com in partnership with India’s top B-schools and knowledge Organizations. This year MBA Universe organized IMC Conclave 2019 and IMC Awards 2019 in New Delhi. Out of 40 B-Schools that participated, 14 Finalists made their presentation on their initiatives during the event. BIMTECH received the Silver Award for the theme "Creating Faculty Resources: Initiatives and Approaches" by the hands of Hon’ble Former President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee.

LYCEUM Mega Event 2019

The 4th edition of "Lyceum Masterclass 2019", supported by Swiss Re provided the opportunity to discuss the challenges and opportunities in managing Indian business in the VUCA world. A group of students were groomed by the faculty mentors to collaborate as teams to deal with a topical and trending subject in the form of a presentation. They showcased their presentations before a panel of eminent corporate thought leaders who judged them on various parameters. This competition helped in nurturing the students and creating opportunities for them to grow at various levels.

BIMTECH organized a panel discussion on "New Age Economy and Managerial Skills"

It was a fortunate moment for us to hear Mr. Ajit Shah, Managing Director, APAC & MEA, ACTICO, Singapore, an experienced individual in managing budgets / P&L. He gave us some valuable insights on how integrating AI in Business can steer a business model towards exponential growth. We also heard from Mr. Vijay Kumar, the Ex-Vice President of Tech Mahindra on some of the pressing issues. We also had the pleasure to host Mr. Kumar Bivudh, Divisional Head, Project Management - strategic projects in the Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa, Apollo Tyres Limited.

Great insights on Risk Management by Ms. Jhelum Bagchi and Mr. Gurpreet Singh Jolly

Ms. Jhelum Bagchi, Associate Director, Global Development, RIMS, New York, US and Mr. Gurpreet Singh Jolly, Head Global Insurance, Sun Pharmaceutical Limited, India shared their insights with students on different kind of risks a company faces or currently is facing and what are the techniques they are using to mitigate those risk.

BIMTECH Vidhya Kendra", inaugurated by Shri Alok Tandon, IAS, Managing Director of the NMRC

BIMTECH Vidhya Kendra is inaugurated by Shri Alok Tandon, IAS, Managing Director of the Noida Metro Rail Corporation at Pari Chowk Metro Station on 17th Aug 19. It is initiated with an objective to achieve inclusive and quality education for all and provide equal access to affordable vocational training eliminating gender and wealth disparities and also to facilitate universal access to quality digital literacy. The project is implemented by BIMTECH Foundation and Ranganathan Society of Social Welfare and Library Development.

BIMTECH won "Sandvik India Gender Award 2019"

We are very delighted to share that BIMTECH has won the "Sandvik India Gender Award 2019" in Academic Category for Promoting education, enhancing vocation skills, livelihood enhancement projects for women and girls. Dr. Abha Rishi and Dr. Rishi Tiwari jointly lifted the award with much pride and happiness. This award seeks to identify the organizations that are committed to supporting gender equality, diversity, and inclusion in areas such as education and social change.
