INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MASS COMMUNICATION Delhi

The Indian Institute of Mass Communication came into being in 1965. The main campus is situated in Delhi, having regional campuses in Kerala, Maharashtra, and Jammu & Kashmir etc. The Institute was found to teach, train and undertake research in the field of mass communication. Being a training academy of Indian Information Services, IIMC now conducts various Post-Graduate Diploma Courses in journalism along with specialisations in different areas. Besides, they hold a biannual Diploma in Development Journalism for media officials across the world.
The specialisations include English Journalism, Hindi Journalism, Language Journalism, Radio & TV Journalism, etc., are in the list and many more. The education is not limited to India but foreign countries also. Until now, over 1500+ foreign nationals across the world have been trained at the institute. IIMC is said to be India’s first institute to offer Communication Research Department that conducts research, analysis and influences assessment studies for various ministries and government departments.
